Hey Everybody,
This is Jason posting at Rich's request. As you know, he's been without the internet for a few months. Well, now his laptop decided to take a poop, as well. So, he hasn't been able to write any new blog posts. He's not abandoning it or anything, just can't update at the moment without a computer.
Oh, and Rich, I love you so very much. Just thought you should know. <3

ReplyDeleteI could use Window's ICS, if it actually worked.
ReplyDeleteI could switch cables all the time, but I don't have one long enough to reach my bedroom, it's a huge hassle, and I'd have to powercycle the modem which would knock out the phones for a few minutes.
I could buy a Linksys cable router, but then we'd have no phone service at all.
But I think if I get a nice wireless router I could set the default gateway as the cable modem and get out through there. Too bad I don't have the $100.
But I guess it's okay to use my dad's computer in between the time I'm done talking to Jason (after my parents go to sleep) and whenever they decide I'm making too much noise. The entire hour.
So, you'd like a wireless router? Pick one out and it's yours!

That's the one I have! It works pretty well, except I have to reset it every few months

ReplyDeleteConnie & Julie, do you have an old Verizon-compatible flip phone lying around? Anything'll do. Mine's taken a poop (no backlight, overheats, cracked hinge) and I've been asking around to see if anybody has a spare phone.
