ReplyDeleteI don't have blog of my own, but feel the need to vent; so, I'm hijacking this blog for a moment.
ReplyDeleteI want to buy a George Foreman grill for Katie. Well, I was going to buy her a magic bullet ~ which, by the way, I thought was the name of a vibrator until Julie got one, but that's beside the point ~ now SOMEONE ELSE, namely the evil Mary Lou, is getting Katie the Magic Bullet, so my 2nd choice is the grill. I see online at target.com that they are $40 and available at the store near me. I drive my lazy ass over there and they're priced at $49.99, so I drive my crabby ass back home, print off the page that has them for $40, drive my stupid ass back to the store, grab the effing thing off the shelf, and wait in a long frigging line just to be told "we don't match target.com prices."
WTF, isn't it the same effing store? If someone comes in with an ad from their store, why can't they match the price?
I did not buy the grill! They make me so mad, I want to go buy mispriced items just to get the $5 bounty. Fuckers!

You can vent on my blog any time you want. For future reference most stores have lower prices on their web site to lure people into the store. Those bastards. Seriously, shop Amazon and Newegg.

* I enjoyed being an RA more than being a PC
* I have great interpersonal skills but don't seem happy
* I cross my arms at meetings
* I didn't attend an optional brunch at Les Cook's home, thus I 'boycotted' it
* Failure to take my coat during meetings gives hostile body language
* My paperwork has improved since being told I was on probation
* I didn't tell FYE I was planning an alliance to bet them at Winter Carnival (Carnival is a big deal here)
* I lead staff meetings but don't talk enough
Ridiculous! I got my letter of probation finally today, and literally 3 seconds later, I got fired... it sucked! Now I have less than a week and a half to find housing for next semester... AWESOME!

Rent with two people is $275 a month + utilities (but not water, sewer, and garbage: that's in with the rent). If Sarah moves in as well, then they make it $600/month, so $200 a person.
The room is about 10'x12'. I'm bad with measurements though. And I think the ceiling is about 8 feet high.
The lease is through the 31st of May.
